Food waste isn’t just one problem. It’s a lot of individual problems scattered across the supply chain, which makes measuring it notoriously difficult. And yet measurement is critical for any food waste reduction initiative – for knowing where to focus your efforts to determining what the impact is. This April, as ReFED updates the Insights Engine with new data and EPA releases its own new waste estimates, we’ve invited EPA’s Claudia Fabiano to join Dana Gunders for a special fireside chat – the day before Earth Day! – to talk through the numbers, what they can reveal about progress being made, and how they can be used to support food waste reduction initiatives across the country. After the discussion, stay for a Q&A where you can get your questions answered.
