Since 2019, we have been proud to host the ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit, the premier food waste event of the year. Every spring, the ReFED Summit brings together hundreds of food system leaders, decisionmakers, and advocates from across the country and globe for three days of insights, inspiration, and action. Attendees leave with clear takeaways on how to drive impact in their organization and work—as well as countless connections with colleagues old and new who can help to advance your food waste aspirations.

And as our movement continues to grow and there is increased momentum behind solving food waste, it is logical that new convenings and conversations on the topic will pop up. And that’s a good thing, since it will take all of us working together to really make a dent in this problem. As those who have been there since the beginning know, ReFED is and has always been about making space in the “big tent” for everyone working on food waste solutions, driving collaboration that fuels our work.

With that said, more food waste focused events bring with it the possibility for confusion. For those who would like to join our annual convening, look out for our official name, the ReFED Food Waste Solutions Summit, or just the “ReFED Summit” for short.
