Shashank Mohan is a Senior Advisor with the Energy and Climate Data Platforms team at Rhodium Group. He focuses on developing energy and climate data products and engaging with users and clients in the public and private sectors. He re-joins Rhodium after serving as a Managing Director on BlackRock’s Aladdin Sustainability team, where he helped integrate climate analytics into investment decision-making. Before that, he was a partner at Rhodium, leading quantitative analysis within the Energy & Climate team. His career began in tech as a software engineer at Microsoft. He is a co-author of Fueling Up, a book on the economic and emission implications of the U.S. shale gas revolution, and Economic Risk of Climate Change—An American Prospectus, a book that studies the impact of climate change in the U.S.

He holds a Master in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and a Master in Public Administration from Columbia University.
