Zaneta Hunte serves as Executive Assistant at ReFED. She began her career in fundraising management as a program center manager at Ruffalo Noel Levitz, serving as the on-site liaison for donor relations. She later transitioned into the media industry at Warner Bros. Discovery, where she worked as an editor and quality assurance specialist, collaborating closely with partners to ensure on-air accuracy of commercials during programming. During this time, she also served as a project lead for employee volunteer initiatives in partnership with organizations such as No Kid Hungry and Rise Against Hunger, coordinating opportunities for employees to raise awareness of critical social issues.

Zaneta later entered the beauty industry, serving as an executive assistant to the CEO and executive chairman of four clean, cruelty-free beauty brands. Her experience in administrative support combined with her personal commitment to nonprofit work led her to ReFED, where she now helps to support the organization’s mission to end food waste.
