Yoni Auerbach serves as Manager of Development at ReFED and brings over five years of experience in the nonprofit sector. He joined ReFED after nearly four years at Share Our Strength, the organization behind the “No Kid Hungry” campaign, where he served as manager of corporate partnerships. In that role, he collaborated with companies including Citi, Macy’s Inc., the Arby’s Foundation, and Warner Bros. Discovery to raise funds and awareness to help end childhood hunger in America. During his time at Share Our Strength, he also served on the organization’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, developed strategies and resources to support employee fundraising campaigns, and facilitated cross-team collaboration between the Corporate Partnerships and Major Gifts teams.

Yoni began his career at American Corporate Partners, a nonprofit that supports military service members as they transition to civilian careers through one-on-one mentorships. There, he managed a portfolio of more than 125 professional development mentorships, oversaw corporate fundraising relationships, and played a key role in staff training and mentorship. His passion for philanthropy was first sparked by an internship at the 92nd Street Y’s Belfer Center for Innovation and Social Impact—the birthplace of Giving Tuesday.

In 2024, he co-created a documentary screening and leadership workshop program designed to inspire values-driven leadership in young adults. The initiative was based on the award-winning documentary, In Pursuit Of.
