Yoni Auerbach
Manager of Development
Yoni Auerbach is ReFED's Manager of Development. With over five years of experience working in the nonprofit field, he joined ReFED after spending more than three years at Share Our Strength, the organization behind the No Kid Hungry campaign, where he served as Manager of Corporate Partnerships, working closely with companies such as Citi, Macy’s Inc., the Arby's Foundation, and Warner Bros. Discovery to raise funds and awareness to end childhood hunger in America. Additionally, he was a member of Share Our Strength's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, developed strategies and resources to support employee fundraising campaigns, and facilitated collaboration between the Corporate Partnerships and Major Gifts teams.
During Summer and Fall 2024, Yoni co-created a documentary screening and leadership workshop programming designed to inspire value-driven leadership for young adults based on an award winning documentary called "In Pursuit Of."
Yoni began his career at American Corporate Partners (ACP), a nonprofit dedicated to helping military service members transition to civilian careers through one-on-one mentorships, where he oversaw a portfolio of 125+ professional development mentorships, managed corporate fundraising relationships, and played a key role in training and mentoring new staff. An internship at the 92nd Street Y's Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact, where Giving Tuesday began, sparked his passion for philanthropy.
He has a Bachelor in Political Science from Vassar College.
ReFED's work is made possible with generous support from and in partnership with our funders.
