In response to the growing momentum around standardizing date labels, and to assess whether levels of confusion had changed, the Harvard Law School Food Law and Policy Clinic, the Johns Hopkins Department of Environmental Health & Engineering, and ReFED reissued a 2016 survey about U.S. consumer perceptions of food date labels. The results of this survey are reported in this document.
